Fourteen European and hybrid grapes-Muscat Bailey-A(MB-A), Riesling, Neo Muscat, Sauvignon, Chasselas, Excelsior, Golden Queen, Seibel(S) 4986, S. 9110, Kuhlmann(K) 1882, K. 1942, Seyve-Yillard(S.V.) 5276, S.V. 183151, Burdin 1705 were prepared to one-node cuttings and kept at 15¡É and 28¡É in moistened sand bed after anaerobiosis, and their bud burst and rooting performances were examined.
Days to bud burst for 50%(DB 50) ranged from 12.5days(S. 4986) to 28.5days(Burdin 7705). and DB 50 was always shorter at 28¡É.
Percent bud burst was low in the longer DB 50 genotypes till 4 weeks after cutting, then nearly recovered by 10 weeks, and the final percentage was higher at l5¡É.
Rooting percemage and number of root tended to increase at 15¡É with varictal differences.
