Fourteen European and hybrid grapes-Muscat Bailey-A(MB-A), Riesling, Neo Muscat, Sauvignon, Chasselas, Excelsior, Golden Queen, Seibel(S) 4986, S. 9110, Kuhlmann(K) 1882, K. 1942, Seyve-Yillard(S.V.) 5276, S.V. 183151, Burdin 1705 were prepared to one-node cuttings and kept at 15℃ and 28℃ in moistened sand bed after anaerobiosis, and their bud burst and rooting performances were examined.
Days to bud burst for 50%(DB 50) ranged from 12.5days(S. 4986) to 28.5days(Burdin 7705). and DB 50 was always shorter at 28℃.
Percent bud burst was low in the longer DB 50 genotypes till 4 weeks after cutting, then nearly recovered by 10 weeks, and the final percentage was higher at l5℃.
Rooting percemage and number of root tended to increase at 15℃ with varictal differences.
